  1.                           HEATHER CREEK

  3.      Heather Creek is a fictitious course.  Long holes buffeted
  4. by steady winds wrap around a series of treacherous creeks,
  5. putting water in play on nearly every hole, sometimes on multiple
  6. shots.
  7.  
  8.      Not being much of a bitmap artist, I have gleaned the
  9. objects here from other designers' courses, in some cases
  10. modifying them, in some not.  Only the heather and water lily are
  11. my own creation.  Likewise, the background is modified from Gene
  12. Rodriguez III's Bay Bridge Greens.  If you haven't seen any of
  13. Gene's courses, find them; he's one of the best artists going,
  14. especially his clouds.
  15.      
  16.      Along other creative lines, if you happen to be a book
  17. reader of mysteries and thrillers, I've published a few which
  18. wander in and out of print and libraries.  The titles are BEACH
  19. MONEY, MIDNIGHT RAZZ, RAZOR MOON, and WINNER'S CUT.  A new novel,
  20. ONE DEAD JUDGE, is due out 2/93 from Walker & Company, New York.
